Designing Corporate Packaging For Gifts

Corporate gifts are something companies give to their employees to welcome them, motivate and encourage them to hit goals, and oftentimes, for the holidays too. This is something that does offer better commitment and brings them better response to the stakeholders. It also makes them feel surprised, happy, and helps ensure that they truly know their value.

It also impacts the business too, as it can help strengthen the relationship. A lot of different aspects contribute to this, and it is something that helps with ensuring that the recipient is able to make the packaging look high quality and premium. Here are some aspects to keep in mind when you design the packaging of corporate gifts.

Bags Vs. Boxes

About half of the responders based on the 2020 business gifting report admitted that they felt a lot more delight by gifts that offered better social impacts. So yes, your packaging does reflect the sustainability of a brand, and one of the best ways to do this is packaging that’s paper based.

They don’t require assembling, can offer gifts, and also helps improve the branding, as you can still include it on the outside. This can hold the girts, and also are easy to get rid of, as they are recyclable, and can even be biodegradable too!  Paper boxes are also a way for you to go, as this is one that speaks on the commitment to the environment, but this is mostly recyclable. You can even get soy ink to the branding, helping ensure that the boxes do get fully degraded as they are biodegradable

Mailer boxes also work well for products, and they are sturdy, made of cardboard that’s thick, and are easy to put together, to make the unboxing experience great for a person who receives the gifts.

You can also get rigid boxes that have lids that are magnetic, and more premium, and are made from paperboard, offering a thicker, better protection for the boxes. The cool thing about this, is that you can secure the lids better in this way.

As in the case of both mailer and rigid boxes, the foam and paper inserts improve the presentation and the way the gifts look. This helps get all of the gifts to one place, so they don’t move in different places. You ucna get inserts for electronics, fragile items, or even glass products too.

Too Much Packaging Does Happen

There is something such as too much packaging. While packaging is a good thing, people don’t want to have to comb through like twenty layers to get gifts.

There is such a thing as something being over-packaged, and this can definitely be a problem if you’re using eco-unfriendly items especially if you’re an eco-friendly company.

Less is more, so try to keep this minimal and light. This includes the box choices, inserts, and also looks to possibly get cloth and paper boxes.

Optimize the costs

Finally, you want to offset the costs. You want to make sure that you give them just a few items so that it’s not overwhelming.  You don’t want to give them low-quality gifts either. If you’re sending the gift bags out to those who are around the world or overseas, try to plan out the packaging, and make sure to get the boxes that work best for you. Sometimes you may want to ship something small, since it’s lighter and a whole lot cheaper than if you’re going to give them something big and heavy that's shipped out via the ocean or air travel packaging too as well.
